CMSI advises at the ITA (Illinois Telephone Association) conference for carriers to continue to monitor all their network traffic leveraging SS7 technology in order to correlate this SS7 data to billing exchange record data to ensure that carriers are receiving all the revenues due.  CMSI advises carriers this is still an important revenue assurance function despite recent FCC regulation and court ruling given that carriers have suffered significant usage losses and therefore still have a great deal of revenue available for recovery under the current regulatory rate regime.
